Reviewing, investigating and reporting on operational risk events;
Production of operational risk management information reports;
Coordinate RCSA process;
Provide challenge to risk assessments, controls and mitigants;
Propose actions to reduce risk exposures and/or improve controls, where required;
Provide second-line oversight of third party risk management and outsourcing;
Providing support and training to the first line of defence;
Key Skills/ Experience Required:
Experience in a comparable role within an FCA-regulated firm (wealth management preferred);
Experience in undertaking and challenging root cause analysis of risk events;
Excellent reporting and presentation skills (MS Word and Excel);
Experience in facilitating RCSA workshops.
Able to work independently and under own initiative;
Attention to detail and strong focus on accuracy of information;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Ability to deal with sensitive issues in a professional manner; and
Maintain high professional standards when interacting with colleagues and other industry professionals.
