The role will involve the development and implementation of an operating model (people, process & technology), in order to deliver long term capacity and efficiency benefits to the UK Private Banking organisation, in line with key customer outcomes. This will involve working with several key stakeholders across the business, in the design and successful implementation of the agreed strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development and implementation of operating model changes (people, process and technology)  
  • Ability to support in defining a strategic vision working with key stakeholders
  • Experience in conducting lean process reviews / mapping customer journeys
  • Experience of developing and delivering automation (inc. Robotic Process Automation) programmes, to deliver capacity and scalability opportunities
  • Experience in working with outsourced providers to drive both quick win and longer term strategic change
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders, building key relationships, while delivering through a matrix organisation
  • Develop and track to key benefit targets

Other:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the businesses (Operations, Client Service, Technology teams) 
  • Any other ad-hoc projects as required.

Technical Capabilities/Skills & Experience Required for the Role:

  • Ideally degree educated (or equivalent) with significant Wealth Management or Private Banking industry experience.  This should include a working knowledge of the industry dynamics, business strategies, products and operating platforms
  • Extensive project management experience within a financial services
  • Lean / Lean Six Sigma experience
  • In-depth understanding of the automation landscape and available tools
  • Business case development
  • Strong ability to build and maintain short and long term relationships within large-scale organisations
  • Experience managing organisational change.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment. 
  • Proven ability to lead the assessment and redesign of business processes.
  • Highly developed presentation and facilitation skills.
  • The ability to be credible in communications with senior personnel.
  • Proficient IT skills - all Microsoft office products and able to pick up other systems/databases easily.
