Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts for 1 trading entity and 3 holding entities.
Process improvement - This doesn’t necessarily mean entire process redevelopment but is something that is always at the front of our minds to drive forward the quality of the reporting/finance function.
Input and preparation of half yearly accounts and annual accounts for the same entities.
Basic understanding of the tax regimes that the company operates in with a view to being able to compute a basic tax number for accounts as and when needed.
Preparation of regulatory returns for the FCA and other jurisdictions when applicable.
Able to answer general finance questions from within the business, but able to tailor communication to various levels within the business – from board directors to their own peers.
We are after self starting individual who is an ACA (or ACCA) and is someone who wants to grow with a fast-paced business, but ideally someone who wants to grow into a very broad finance professional. This is not a role for someone who is uncomfortable with ambiguity, as there are always questions/requests that will require discussion to understand what the end goal is for the data.
