The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a New Business and FUM Intelligence Manager to join the Income Team within the Central Finance function of M&G Investments. The Income Team is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of Group FUM, New Business and other related key deliverables.

The New Business and FUM Intelligence Manager will be leading a newly formed team of five Business Intelligence Analysts to support the delivery of value added new Business and FUM reporting and analysis. This is a high profile role delivering core information to a diverse set of stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will be

* Leading and inspiring a team responsible for the company's New Business and FUM management information. (including adhoc, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting activities)
* Considering the Group wide objectives and change agenda as context for information delivery.
* Providing data insights: Interrogating, analysing and joining New Business and FUM data which currently exists within various systems to provide insight currently unavailable to management.
* Working proactively with key business stakeholders in building the reporting, analytics and insights solutions and capabilities (liaising with dependent projects where necessary).
* Design and creation of self-service analytical tools and dashboards, ad-hoc analysis reports and presentations including the automation of existing and new reporting.
* Working with team members in Operations to develop and enhance the technical tools used as part of our work and fully utilising all available data sources including Aladdin and interconnections with various internal data systems.
* Communicating with key customers about what they need from their data and deliver the results in a language they will understand.
* Developing and refining reporting services and solutions on an ongoing basis including maintaining and developing for the future, the large current suite of internal BI reports.
* Ensuring a consistently high standard of output.

What are we looking for?

We are ideally looking for you to have experience as a Business Manager along with managing teams that provide Business Intelligence development as well as data analysis and data visualisation.
You will need to have proven Project Management skills and experience of implementing a significant programme of change and experience with working with stakeholders at different levels across the business.

It is preferred for you to be degree educated in economics, business or a quantitative field with strong Asset Management industry experience with an understanding of Retail and Institutional product structures.
