World First Middle Office is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team. Key responsibilities:

  • Working with other teams to ensure a smooth and accurate trade to payment process
  • Providing assistance and support to the dealing desks, and consistently working with other teams across the business – specifically Finance, Treasury & Payments
  • Monitoring and managing client facing exposure, ensuring risk management procedures are followed
  • Contacting clients regarding their positions, payment instructions, margin payments and providing account breakdowns
  • Actioning daily and weekly Middle Office control checks
  • Covering of open positions, booking Swaps and checking that trades are booked correctly
  • Monitoring funds due and settlement of Spot and Forward FX contracts
  • Wide range of problem solving and issue resolution.
  • Assisting with EOM processes
  • Assisting with key reporting and analysis to relevant stakeholders across the business as required
  • Raising efficiency and control improvements to the Middle Office Manager and assisting with implementation

Key Capabilities:

  • Strong arithmetic, analytical skills and working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
  • Customer service experience
  • Demonstrated experience within a relevant role
  • Some FX experience is desirable but not a requirement
  • Degree educated, ideally in a business/finance related subject but this is non-essential
  • Good team work, communication skills and ability to work in a time pressured environment
