A Top Tier Investment Bank are recruiting for a Market Risk Analyst to join their Market and Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Control function on a rolling contract with the scope to go permanent based in London.

A Top Tier Investment Bank are recruiting for a Market Risk Analyst to join their Market and Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Control function on a rolling contract with the scope to go permanent based in London.

The Market Risk Analyst will need the following expertise/experience in order to be successful:

  • Quantitative Educational Background
  • Expertise in Interest Rate products, Counterparty risks and/or Market risks, trade characteristics and hedging strategies
  • High degree of understanding of Market and/or Counterparty Risk terminology, methodology and concepts
  • Knowledge and awareness of Basel II & III
  • Experience in documenting requirements, business analysis, validating functional specifications, drafting testing approach plans, user acceptance test cases and the ability to explain the importance of all phases of a project life-cycle
  • Able to understand and document processes
  • Previous experience within Product Control, Profit and Loss Trading, Risk Management and/or Market Risk Analysis.
  • Strong ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders in order to reach a deadline and complete a project successfully.
  • High level of expertise in VBA and/or SQL
