Our forward thinking client are looking for an experienced Management Accountant who thrives in a vibrant and fast paced expanding environment.
The London based company specialise in; Fund Management, Venture Capital, Content Finance and Media Infrastructure.
You will be joining a team with over 150 years of experience in entertainment media, over 400 film and television production credits and has produced, financed and distributed over £2 billion of content.
We are looking for a Management Accountant to join their current team of 7, reporting to the Head of Finance, with lots of opportunities to take ownership of the position and grow with the business. The company will move to a mix of home and office-based working in the near future and the candidate would be expected to work from the Mayfair office a minimum of 2-3 days per week.
To provide an accurate and timely financial service including financial and management accounts, cash flow analysis and advice and support to inform decision making at all levels
To review and ensure appropriate overall performance reporting to the directors
To be responsible for all statutory reporting, annual accounts, corporation tax and VAT
This will include:
Managing the bookkeeping for Group companies with the help of a finance administrator
Prepare monthly VAT returns and submit to HMRC
Prepare monthly management accounts
Prepare monthly cashflow analysis and forecasts
Oversee weekly payment run
Assist Head of Finance with other ad hoc tasks
Prepare workings ready for the GPM Group audit and assist with any queries
Review and discuss outstanding debtors with sales team
Adhoc queries from commercial team
Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant - with business experience
Significant experience of preparation of management accounts, business analysis and management information.
Previous experience on all aspects of small company accounting including VAT returns, payments, banking arrangements, audit and payroll
Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work and handle pressure
