Long/Short Equity - Investment Team Development - Hedge Fund - London Based

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and performing due diligence on potential investment analysts/investment professionals coming into the business
• Supporting the development of relationships with external recruitment agencies, and being a brand ambassador for the firm
• Attend and manage the interview process and investment case studies providing detailed feedback to the executive on candidates performance
• Key investment team contact throughout the process of onboarding and integration of investment team members. 
• Will be required to provide investment-oriented support to new investment team members, with a view to their development and success within the company
• Targeting of potential investment team hires and maintaining relationships, checking in periodically to ensure high-quality candidates are not forgotten if the time is not right to bring them in straight away.
• Performance management of investment team members
• Ongoing monitoring of investment team members performance against key metrics

Requirements 

• Degree-level educated with strong academic background.
• IMC or CFA is preferred 
• Previous investment experience as a hedge fund allocator, due diligence or manager research 
• Strong understanding of equity long/short strategies
• The candidate will be able to demonstrate a consistent level of performance in previous roles
