This is an exciting opportunity to join the growth area of Markets Operations supporting the Commercial Banking business, which is based in London and New York. This role forms part of an Operations function providing operational expertise and trade management for Lloyds Securities Inc.
In this role you'll manage the provision of a comprehensive Operational support service for Lloyds Securities Inc., and will also have scope to work alongside the Primary Markets team supporting the Debt Capital Markets business.
Working within an agreed service level agreement, you'll lead a Trade and Client team comprised of skilled and experienced members, who are responsible for the efficient and timely affirmation, confirmation and settlement of trades for Fixed Income products. You will also shepherd Fixed Income trades to ensure all trades are confirmed with counterparties in a timely manner and all trades settle.
The core business hours of support extend to cover the New York business day between 14:00 - 22:00, which means that an essential requirement will be your ability and flexibility to support these hours.
You'll need to have proven Securities product knowledge and trade experience (Bonds, CD/CPs), as well as a background in leading, coaching and building a high achieving team in a similarly fast paced and customer focused environment.
Plus, you'll need to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritise workflows.
