At Infotel UK, we are looking for a Lean Transformation Consultant in London on a contract basis. This is within the Investment Banking domain.

Mission
The goal of this consultancy mission is to support and help the Risk Systems Management Team in their transformation of the Risk Systems Operations department as part of the RISK 2020 program.
The consultant will be responsible to support the offshoring to Mumbai which involves transitioning the file loading process (availability and timeliness) and ensure the files are correctly loaded in the Risk Systems Application to deliver services to our internal clients (e.g.: VaR).
The consultant will also be responsible to review the operating model of the teams which is necessary to operate efficiently and to successful finalise the transition.  
Working with both global and local resources located in UK, France, Belgium, US, India & Hong Kong, the successful candidate will perform an initial diagnostic of the current transition and will be accountable to design and implement a new operating model for the Mumbai team following the service catalogue.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong experience as a change agent, helping teams to change the way they operate
  • The candidate would have some past experience offshoring teams and transitioning the work across
  • Some PM skills will be required and knowledge experience working with development teams
  • The candidate should be familiar with resistance from the teams to move work across to different teams
  • The candidate should be able to challenge the teams based on KPIs to assess the number of dev members required offshore
  • KPIs should be produced to measure the transition
  • Experience of delivering improvements using Lean or Six Sigma
  • Ideally McKinsey 5 lens experience
  • Proven track record of successful transformation projects (on time, quality, budget thresholds).
  • IT background with knowledge on Agile, ITIL etc.
  • Process analysis, using standard Lean tools including process mapping, pain points analysis, design.
  • Design thinking: Challenge the as-is, Look for new opportunities, find inspiration from different sources, ambitious, creative, alternative.
  • Problem solving, using structured techniques and facilitation.
  • Able to document role definitions, tool specifications, documentation, training.
  • Proven ability to analyse and design KPI’s. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as an integral part of the transformation team.

Qualifications:
Black belt Lean Six Sigma Certification
Certified Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalise the offshoring transition to Mumbai with clear timeline and associated documentation.
  • On-board and inspire key stakeholders to maximize their contribution
  • Provide methodological support, expertise and facilitation
  • Facilitate and document analysis and design workshops.
  • Hands-on analytical work to understand current processes and improvement opportunities
  • Document processes, process flow diagrams, operating procedures, RACI, tools guides, training materials.
  • Project manage work-streams and tasks
  • Raise attention on any risk detected in the missions and propose counter measures
  • Support regular governance cycles, with  meaningful, interesting updates, that support decision making
  • Foster a positive change environment across client’s teams, ensuring changes are sustainable
  • Contribute to regular retrospectives to continuously improve the team’s methodology
