Our client is currently looking for a legally qualified LIBOR discontinuation AVP to join their US$ LIBOR transition project. The ideal candidate will be advising and reviewing all legal and non-legal documentation, liaise with any external legal resources and assisting with business operations and project management relating to the LIBOR project.

Responsibilities:

Active advice of legal aspects of transition
Review NDAs and miscellaneous legal documentation associated with leverage finance transactions
Undertake first level legal analysis and interpretation of data and advise on potential implications with respect to US$ LIBOR transition project
Assist with miscellaneous legal enquiries which may arise
Answer queries from across the department related to US$ LIBOR transition, referring any non-legal queries to the right department
Assisting with miscellaneous legal items which may arise unrelated to US$ LIBOR transition e.g. NDA review
Assist business operations team with deal execution support (updating pipelines, assisting with ad hoc queries, updating microsite, liaising with stakeholders etc)

Key Skills:

Legal qualification (ideally minimum of 2 years PQE)
Banking legal documentation experience preferred
Ability to understand complex issues around loans and swaps and LIBOR transition
