Job Description Summary The role, as part of the overall Knowledge & Pitch (K&P) team, requires an individual to: Assist Business Risk Services (BRS) and Key Accounts (KA) business unit leads to achieve their business development objectives by supporting with responses to RFP requests and creation of pitch presentations. To improve operational efficiency of the K&P team and overall delivery of documents by maintaining its infrastructure and striving for optimal operational effectiveness. To work as part of the team, effectively providing a hands-on service.

The role requires an individual with a familiarity of tender processes to support BRS and KA with the creation of capabilities packs, project manage and create proposal documents in response to RFPs, prepare pitch presentations, complete RFIs, respond to ad hoc requests for proposal supporting material and provide marketing support to the marketing executive.

The individual is required to:

•maintain strong internal relationships between the K&P team, business unit leads and the business development team
•develop informal networks to keep abreast of emerging issues
•be an approachable and respected member of the team who takes a proactive interest in the team's performance and well being
•support the K&P team with the up keep of proposal content library and creation of new content as and when required
•review proposal documents to ensure high quality and accurate contentIf there is familiarity with marketing (for example the design and creation of marketing material - this would be advantageous).

Preferred for the role

•Sector/industry knowledge:
•(i) Large corporate – manufacturing, engineering, transport, retail, power, technology, support services
•(ii) If not large corporate then financial services – insurance, banking, investment management, risk management, technology
•Internal audit/strong project management experience in the above
•Experience of researching thought leadership topics/developing marketing material
