Job Title: Kazakh Speaking Financial Associate – FSU Region Specific
Reporting to: Partner, Wealth Management Team, Eastern Europe
Salary: Approx. £50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus benefits
The Financial Associate will assist the Partner in all aspects of managing the ACPI FSU Region Specific client base.
ACPI is a predominantly management owned independent Investment Manager and Asset Manager. With offices in the UK, Jersey and South Africa, the business provides private client investment management and advisory trading, asset management and private equity advice.
This role concentrates on and specialises in the FSU region, with particular focus on Kazakhstan. Therefore a strong knowledge and understanding of the FSU region, advanced Russian and Kazakh language skills coupled with excellent numerical and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Preparing reports and discussion material for the marketing of investment opportunities and investment updates
Preparing external and internal presentations on conducted researches and analyses
Preparing financial, real estate and industry wide market research reports for the team
Developing and scrutinising financial models within private equity deals
Performing the necessary due-diligence for companies within private equity deals
Specialist knowledge and understanding of the Kazakh and Russian cultures and languages to support and facilitate communication with the Kazakh and Russian investor base
To be successful in securing an opportunity with us, you will need the following:
Proven experience as a Research Analyst role in a similar role, preferably in the Asset Management field
Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance or related discipline (for example, Accounting)
Proven experience of preparing in-depth research reports
Strong numerical skills to use in financial modelling
Proven knowledge and understanding of the geopolitical situation in FSU region, with particular focus on Russia and Kazakhstan
Proven knowledge of major FSU industries, such as Oil & Gas, Energy and Mining.
Fluent in both Kazakh and Russian languages
High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Experience of working under pressure on multiple complex tasks
Experience of working to multiple deadlines
Ability and willingness to work some early mornings, evenings and weekend days
Ability to travel for short business trips
