Our asset allocation practice helps our clients develop and monitor a comprehensive multi‐asset management platform based on value‐orientated convictions, seeking diversified capital appreciation over the long‐term.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Junior Investment Operations Analyst to us in support of our Asset Management business in the London office. This person will form a team with our Investment Operations Associate, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer based in Singapore. Key responsibilities include:

Data management

  • Maintain data integrity of all investment transactions within the firm’s proprietary systems
  • Ensure all transactions and account movements are correctly booked in the internal investment administration systems, in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure correct settlement of all operations, investigating and resolving any exceptions and mismatches with relevant counterparties
  • Run periodic reconciliations of internal data against custodian reports
  • Validate period‐end portfolio valuations provided by administrators
  • Ensure that all subscription/redemption activities on the shareholder register are correctly booked in the internal systems

Fund management

  • Make sure capital call payments are executed on a timely manner, invoices are paid
  • Support of direct investment process (AML/KYC process, subscriptions & redemptions)
  • Manage operational/ legal issues for direct investments
  • Maintain and drive adherence of Operational Procedures

Statutory and Regulatory Compliance

  • Provide data for Annual MAS declaration and Survey of Fund Managers
  • Prepare financial statements of the Fund using IFRS standards
  • Support tax filing for AM vehicle


  • Record transactions of other investment vehicles within the group in the same proprietary systems, producing Group Perimeter reporting.


The ideal candidate for the position will have the following skills:

  • Finance or accountancy related degree, preferably accounting qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent)
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in accounting or back & middle office functions in a financial service company
  • Knowledge of financial instruments
  • Good analytical skills, great attention to details, goal‐orientated attitude, quick learner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, given the significant degree of both internal and external interaction
  • Well organised, disciplined approach to work, with a positive problem‐solving attitude
  • Able to work as part of a team and communicate with colleagues globally
  • Ability to take leadership for areas of responsibility and shape the operational function
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and some investment administration software (ideally Vitech V3, previously Equitrak)
