Java Developer - London- Front Office Finance | Core Java; SQL; AWS; Kafka; ElasticSearch

Summary:

A leading quant trading hedge fund are looking for a Java developer to join their front office London team. Working alongside quant developers and researchers in London, the Java developer will be scaling out their trade execution platform in Java on AWS. The successful Java developer will have full ownership and will architect the platform, APIs and backend code to build fast, low latency distributed systems that can handle multiple TBs of data in real-time.

Requirements:

• BSc STEM field, preferably Computer Science
• Experience programming in core Java
• Experience writing multi-threaded code, building distributed systems and low-latency environments is beneficial
• Experience in an agile, test-driven development
• No financial product knowledge / experience needed
