Major private equity fund is looking to add an Investor Relations analyst to their team

Our client is a major European private equity fund. They are now looking to grow their fundraising and IR platform by adding an analyst to the existing team to help with current fundraising as well as ongoing relationships with the firm’s growing base of world leading institutional investors. The ideal candidate will have experience in a blue- chip firm and will bring a mixture of highly developed analytical, creative and social skills. Experience in finance is desirable but not essential. Candidates with existing IR experience are particularly attractive but we will also consider candidates from a range of backgrounds, such as management consultancy or accountancy. Responsibilities include: • Completing Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for potential investors • Preparing marketing materials (including presentations, research pieces and general market data) • Preparing answers to fundraising due diligence related queries • CRM database management • Preparing answers to ad-hoc queries from existing investors • Preparing/maintaining fund-related materials • Working with the IR team on all aspects of the AGM • Building strong internal relations across the organisation to ensure their support in the process of gathering necessary information Successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following: • A strong academic record • Articulate communication with strong English writing skills • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills • Any additional language skills are a plus
