Leading Asset Manager seeking an Investment Risk Manager to join their team focusing on the private equity space

Key Responsibilities

• Become the SME and key point of contact within the Investment Risk team for matters relating to unlisted assets managed by the firm.

• Lead on risk modelling of unlisted assets within the Aladdin risk system to ensure that economic risks of assets are modelled as accurately as possible.

• Form a close working relationship with relevant PMs, developing a detailed knowledge of the investments and being able to add insight as well as providing appropriate challenge.

 • Ongoing involvement with key Investment Risk projects, being proactive and ensuring projects are delivered in a timely manner.

Skills/ Experience Required

 

• Proven experience in a similar front office facing role, with a focus on Private Equity (essential)

• Experienced in leading portfolio review meetings with the front office.

• Working knowledge of the characteristics of equity and fixed income assets.

• Thorough understanding of risk models.

• Ability to quickly become proficient and self-learn risk software packages
