Unique opportunity for someone with a string analytical skill set to make a positive difference in the World of healthcare. The role would be ideal for a chartered accountant (ACA) who has trained in the M&A or Transaction Advisory Services areas of a consulting firm.

We are working with a leading tech platform in the Healthcare space who are looking to grow their corporate development team. A significant part of their expansion strategy relies on strategic acquisitions and this role will work closely with the CEO and CFO.

The company are helping to drive change and move medical care forward through innovative networking and communication channels. They are looking to make 4 to 5 acquisitions per year moving forward with the aim of growing their industry presence, allowing them to reach and connect with more doctors around the World.

With private equity backing, the company have significant financing available and are able to rapidly deploy capital.

Duties:

  • Contribute to and support the execution of investment opportunities
  • Support the CFO and CEO on financial modelling and assessment of investment opportunities
  • Provide support in relation to the management of flow of diligence materials and supporting transaction due diligence
  • Helping with the preparation of the investment recommendations and participating in the discussion of the opportunity at Investment Committee meetings
  • Supporting other more senior team members on deal negotiations and deal completion through company analysis
  • Assisting with the production and presentation of the post-acquisition plan

Requirements:

  • Prior experience of financial analysis and valuation modelling, built either in the transaction services or M&A teams in a consulting firm or within an investment environment
  • Demonstrable experience of transactions
  • Preference for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA etc.)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft applications, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
