Infrastructure Engineer - Law Firm - London

A London based international Law firm are looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer to work within their shared services division.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical management of the Bank's IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Managing Virtual Estate
  • SME for Windows Server technologies
  • Management of the corporate telecoms environment (system, fixed lines, mobiles)
  • Management of the Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity environment
  • Management of IT infrastructure projects
  • Development and maintenance of system documentation

Required Skills
  • Network and server management skills; including:
  • Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange and SQL
  • Server management tools, backups, patching, capacity management
  • VMWare and virtualised technologies
  • Storage Array technologies and support, capacity management
  • Networking/(Cisco) Routers, switches and firewalls, DNS, DHCP etc
  • Telecomms - circuits and associated infrastructure
  • On premise and hosted telephone systems/SIP protocols, recording etc
  • Exposure to, and knowledge of, hosted solutions - e.g. Office 365
  • Technical knowledge to enable management of Infrastructure service providers
  • Technical knowledge and willingness to provide desktop support
  • Ability to use and support MS office, MSSQL and other reporting and database packages
