Responsibilities:
- Support the COO with the development and presentation of the department’s strategy including the reporting of performance against agreed milestones
- Represent the department on a series of bank-wide projects, notably acting as project lead on the development of the bank’s new lending user interface (HALO) to automate the end to end lending process
- Drive change within the department by challenging the status quo and considering where commercial benefit can be gained, efficiencies achieved or risks mitigated. Oversee implementation.
Necessary Experience:
- Experience in the financial services industry and private banking products and services (desirable)
- Proven track record of strategic thinking, leading projects and managing change
- Expertise in project management methodologies and associated reporting
- Experienced in dealing with internal and external Legal, Compliance and Audit departments.
- Demonstrable experience of influencing business leadership teams, strategic thinking and prioritisation.
