Fitch Group is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership to join our Enterprise Services team as a Systems Engineer.  The team is responsible for Enterprise Services including Email, Active Directory, Azure AD/Office 365, File shares and Printer services across the firm.


Job Description:


Fitch is focused on migrating many of these services to the cloud. This candidate will assist the team in research and development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and deploying solutions.  This individual will be responsible for collaboratively designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting all components of Windows infrastructure and Azure AD/Office 365.  This position will also involve mentoring and providing direction to peers and other teams related to direction, design and strategy of supported services.


Position Requirements:


  • Deliver services for the Platforms Practice which includes the Design, Deployment, Implementation, Migration, Upgrade, and/or Decommission of Windows Services including: Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services, Certificate Services, DNS, DHCP, Server operating systems (2008, 2012, 2016), Group Policies, Server, client and networking security
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; contribute to and maintain system standards
  • Participate in the design, implementation and management of automation initiatives
  • Migrating on-premises services to Microsoft Azure AD/Office 365
  • Standard practices for governance enforcement
  • Provide subject matter knowledge and expertise on Microsoft infrastructure and Office 365 services
  • Demonstrate experience with upgrading, enhancing and migrating Microsoft platform systems and services
  • Provide off hour support



The candidate must possess the following skills, experiences and qualities:
  • Extensive experience with Active Directory
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies including DFS, Group Policies, DHCP, DNS, and printing
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure AD, Office 365
  • Expertise with server operating system from Windows 2008 to Windows 2016
  • Strong PowerShell skills required
  • Accomplished and supported multiple Active Directory migrations and upgrades
  • Enterprise experience with implementation, and operation of Microsoft platforms technologies
  • Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills at the Systems Engineer level.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and as part of nationwide team of engineers
  • Be confident and actively participating in team support by proposing and implementing solutions
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
  • Detail Oriented and resourceful
  • SCCM & WSUS experience a plus
