IT Service Desk Manager - Investment Management Firm - c.£80,000

 

Cititec are working with a London based client who are looking for someone to join them to supervise an existing team of Service Desk and Client Computing staff. This team are responsible for providing technical desktop, printing, mobile and IT Service Desk support to employees and you will plan and monitor daily work activities to ensure sufficient coverage and commitment to quality, service and efficiency standards.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Day to day management and responsibility of a team of Service Desk and Desktop Support Analysts, ensuring appropriate business coverage with staff shift rotations
  • Participate as Major Incident Manager for incidents
  • Onboard new services onto the service desk ensuring the appropriate training for staff and processes are put in place
  • Ensure SLAs are being met across the board
  • Act as liaison for tracking, communicating and managing any temporary change to agreed service levels
  • Provide mentoring and training to members of the team, ensuring consistent standard of excellence and professionalism
  • Support for Exec level users
  • Provide support across UK and European offices
  • Track ticket trends in the ITSM toolset, being able to identify areas for improvement and actioning those improvements

 

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience of managing a service desk/service support team
  • 5+ years in a technical support environment
  • Experience liaising with senior stakeholders and the Executive team
  • Practical working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows OS desktop environment and Microsoft O365 application suite
  • Experience with and knowledge of Apple iOS products is desirable
  • Practical working knowledge of Infrastructure technologies including networking and servers
  • Ability to resolve complex issues positively and professionally
