We are seeking to recruit a full-time Investment Associate to support our Growth Strategy from our London office. The associate will play an integral role in supporting the fund which invests in expansion and growth stage companies that enable more efficient transmission, distribution and consumption of energy. It pursues global opportunities within several industry segments including: energy technology, smart industry, and smart cities and mobility. The Associate will be part of the Global Investment team, and will report to the Portfolio Manager.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Deal sourcing support:
    • Map out target sectors and companies and build relationships with target companies
    • Build relationships with investors, advisors and other sources of deal flow
  • Deal execution and portfolio management support
    • Conduct financial, market and third party due diligence
    • Manage internal investment process and prepare memos and valuation updates
  • Franchise building
    • Take an active role in building the franchise (attend conferences, build network of entrepreneurs, investors and advisors)
    • Support fundraising and investor outreach effort 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in an executional, deal-focused capacity in investment banking, venture capital, private and growth equity, or management consulting
  • Strong understanding of the technology and/or targeted sectors
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills in English
  • Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and financial modeling applications
  • Solid quantitative and analytical skills, accounting and financial concepts, eye for detail
  • Efficently plan and organize own workload with tight dealines; without close oversight
  • Self-starter, fast learner and eager to partner with colleages
