As part of the continued growth of Wellington's Alternatives business in EMEA, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Sales Director to join the Client Group in London. He/she will be responsible for driving growth in the firm's liquid alternatives platform across a number of countries/regions, most likely to include the UK, Switzerland and the Middle East. He/she will collaborate with Regional BD colleagues, in order to leverage existing relationships, while also developing new relationships from scratch where required/appropriate.
The successful candidate is likely to have 15+ years of relevant professional experience, successfully developing relationships with liquid alternatives clients in the UK (and, most probably, other countries/regions). He/she will ideally possess in-depth product knowledge across different asset classes, as well as in-depth knowledge of investors' legal, regulatory, liquidity and structuring requirements across different jurisdictions.
