Our client is seeking a driven, digitally oriented, and future-focused Head of Product Marketing with a fresh approach to product messaging and an unyielding desire to ensure clients’ needs are met with timely, relevant, and impactful information.     As the Head of Product Marketing, you would be responsible for running the day-to-day efforts for our client’s international product marketing programmes, all product marketing materials, as well as oversight of the product marketing team and the Fund Foresight platform.  

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include, but not Limited to

  • Manage the International Product Marketing function to ensure a high-quality standard of product materials are delivered in accordance to the delivery requirements of International Distribution. Materials include: pitch books, bespoke presentations, sales aids, fact sheets, product web pages, and promotional content for product campaigns and webcasts.
  • Create, maintain, and oversee the Fund Foresight channel, a key tool which provides a competitive edge for our European and International sales teams on all focus funds via a web/mobile app platform. Content includes videos, short webcasts, podcasts and digital pages, all giving updates on our funds versus their main competitors and any other points of interest. This includes monitoring usage and evolving the tool in line with the changing needs of the business.
  • Chair the focus fund screening committee once a quarter to define the focus products for European distribution and marketing.
  • Create key messaging for new funds and update messaging on existing focus funds based on competitor analysis alongside the Product Specialist Group (PSG) and the Product team.
  • Ensure consistency of all product messaging and positioning throughout the suite of materials and across product marketing teams.
  • Project manage the marketing related aspects of product launches and product corporate actions requirements in conjunction with the International Product team.
  • Represent Marketing on all product related matters and provide regular feedback on requirements to the broader Marketing Leadership team.
  • Direct, support, and develop the Product Marketing team to achieve high levels of performance, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Maintain a high level of compliance knowledge related to European markets and adhere to the appropriate financial promotions procedures.
  • Manage relationships with data distributors across Europe.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience

  • 10-15 years of experience as a marketing leader within the asset management industry.
  • Educated to degree level
  • Have managed a program tied to financial product marketing or investor education content or, have had a great deal of exposure to this type of material.
  • High level of investment product vehicles, strategies, and the asset management industry knowledge as a whole.
  • Ability to successfully lead a team performing a variety of tasks
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements across UK and Europe to ensure all marketing collateral adheres to those requirements
  • IMC or industry relevant qualification advantageous
