The new hire will report directly into the COO, managing the full operations/middle office process across all funds (the firm currently have 2 funds, launching funds 3 & 4 next year) - a major initiative for the new hire is to outsource as much of these functions as possible, thus making it an oversight function (as opposed to hands-on/manual). The hire will shadow the COO on many high-level tasks and projects (building out operational infrastructure and also on new fund launches). In addition, you will take the weight off the COO by managing relationships with key external service providers.
Candidates should currently be working in hedge fund operations and looking for a step-up into a HOO role. A broad product experience is preferred. You will be happily to work stand-alone as opposed to being focused on building a team.
The role will pay up to an 80k base salary and a bonus that can be a large % of that number if both the hire and the fund perform to a high level.
