Newly created role in a boutique fund administration firm! As part of their expansion, our client is looking to bring on board a Head of Investor Services who will take charge of implementing and developing the Transfer Agency & Investor KYC/AEOI product line. Key responsibilities will include rolling out a new transfer agency system, drafting process and procedures and helping to build & manage a growing team.


  • Contribute to the implementation of a market leading transfer agency accounting system, maximising use and adoption of system to exceed client expectations, staff efficiency and risk management
  • Help develop, implement and monitor robust control framework, policies and procedures for the transfer agency service provision, with specific reference to risk management
  • Be responsible for the timeliness and accuracy on all matters relating to the Transfer Agency and Investor KYC / AEOI services
  • Lead a team that provides Investor KYC and AEOI Services to a varied type of funds
  • Handle investor on-boarding, redemption, transfer and on-going due diligence in line with procedures and AML/KYC guidelines including the preparation or the review of the relevant checklists
  • Perform regular quality reviews and validation of AML/KYC and tax data (Risk rating report, FATCA, CRS , KPI)
  • Ensure there is good corporate housekeeping of investors' files and reporting
  • Follow-up on all compliance processes and ensure a smooth communication with clients, investors, third parties, aiming to keep issues to a minimum and resolved quickly
  • Review work and oversee operations to ensure services are delivered in a consistent, well controlled and robust manner
  • Oversight of operational error reports; assessment of control failure and management of control improvements
  • Regular review of changing market requirements and service levels, and implement changes to strategy accordingly
  • Define and help lead clear operational service standards through implementation of data led SLAs and KPIs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, including lawyers, auditors, tax advisors, bankers, investment managers, custodians and other transaction parties
  • Ensure there is understanding by the team and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures


  • Minimum 8 years’ experience working in investor services/transfer agency/compliance or risk, within the fund administration industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the Transfer Agency market and industry
  • Technical expert in the AML and AEOI laws and requirements
  • Experience administering Cayman private equity and/or hedge fund vehicles is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent at client and stakeholder management
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
