Head of Investment Risk - Real Estate

This is an exciting new role as the Head of Investment Risk for a buy-side firm focused on Real Estate and Infrastructure. Candidates are expected to have both Investment Risk and Real Estate or Infrastructure product knowledge.

 

This is an exciting new role as the Head of Investment Risk for a buy-side firm focused on Real Estate and Infrastructure. Candidates are expected to have both Investment Risk and Real Estate or Infrastructure product knowledge. Our client has a great working culture of collaboration and appropriate challenge.

My client is one of the largest players in the Infrastructure and Real Estate market and looking to expand. The Chief Risk Officer is looking to hire a Head of Investment Risk as a direct report. 

The role will be to provide oversight, advice and challenge on property investment risk. This position will deputise for the CRO and will be involved where appropriate in material business decisions.

The role will involve understanding property risk appetite, the tolerance framework and LTM assumptions and valuations. The position will require modelling of Sale and Leaseback Transactions.

Suitable Candidates:

  • Candidates must have experience in a buy-side Investment Risk role.
  • Candidates must have some experience with either residential or commercial property.
