My client is looking for a strong collaborator to join its EMEA Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing targeted, segmented campaigns in our marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Exact Target). The candidate will also be responsible for creating and designing HTML email templates and updating them for different campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a track record of supporting successful marketing automation programs, attention to details, ability to work collaboratively across teams and regions, and high technical aptitude.

Email marketing specialist

My client is looking for a strong collaborator to join its EMEA Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing targeted, segmented campaigns in our marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Exact Target). The candidate will also be responsible for creating and designing HTML email templates and updating them for different campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a track record of supporting successful marketing automation programs, attention to details, ability to work collaboratively across teams and regions, and high technical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary owner of the marketing automation platform
  • Responsible for the execution of marketing and channel email campaigns
  • Proactively partner with channel and content marketing teams to optimize campaigns
  • Develop new and enhance existing nurture programs, including building out automations/journeys, A/B path testing
  • Oversee the EMEA email marketing calendar
  • Manage data segmentation and list import/export process, including best practices, reports and deliverables
  • Troubleshoots technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required
  • Responsible for creating responsive HTML emails drawing together text, product information and graphic elements within a flexible template and adhering to brand standards
  • Produce and distribute email analytics
  • Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Update email templates where necessary (basic HTML knowledge required)
  • Recommend process improvement opportunities as necessary
  • Ensure data cleanliness and completeness leveraging tools in Salesforce and other third-party platforms
  • Support and recommend integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, such as ON24, LinkedIn, preference/subscription center, analytics hub, etc.
  • Liaise with the Global Marketing team to ensure consistency and best practices across the firm.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation, preferably within a B2B Financial Services firm
  • Advanced understanding and practical application of Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud (Exact Target)
  • Good knowledge of Web Design, HTML, and CSS
  • Adobe skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Solid application of process management, marketing measurement, and data management disciplines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team
  • Attention to details
