Our client - one of Europe's most reputable private equity funds - is looking to bring on board a senior HR professional to oversee learning and development across the team. It is a European focussed fund that has consistently outperformed its peers over many decades. With a portfolio of high performing assets, it will be fund raising again in 2020 making it a very exciting time to join the team. This is a newly created position that you will help mould and develop. Reporting to the Managing Partner but working very closely with all the Partners across the fund, the role will be very broad allowing you to gain some excellent exposure.

This is a high profile appointment and is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience of working in private equity to make an impact and become an integral member of the team

The role is open to those interested in both a full and part-time position, with a degree of flexibility for the right person

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performance evaluation - Working to facilitate a consistent and thorough approach to the performance review process
  • Performance management - Following up on identified areas for development and implementing them where appropriate
  • Training - Coordinating and developing the training programme for groups and / or individuals within the fund
  • Recruitment - Reviewing the fund's current process and advising on / implementing new procedures
  • Market benchmarking - Monitoring the practices of other private equity firms will be required to ensure the fund remains competitive
  • Project - Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines
  • Progression - Reviewing the funds career progression scheme and implementing procedures to ensure the fund remain meritocratic

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Experience within the private equity space is essential - this is highly likely to be as an HR or talent management professional, but it could also be as a senior professional in another capacity within a PE fund
  • Proven experience of developing positive working relationships
  • Natural and demonstrable ability to be a positive influence - you will have high levels of empathy, strong inter-personal skills, natural gravitas
  • Experience of training junior staff members and comfortable working as part of a team or individually
