We have created new HR Partner opportunities to work in partnership with business leaders, key stakeholders and HR colleagues to shape, develop and deliver on the HR strategy and key people activities. The HR Partner will work closely with the broader HR Partnering team to provide consultancy and guidance in respect of the strategic people agenda. Responsible for facilitating and supporting leaders in the achievement of change management, business strategy and contributing to enhanced levels of performance, both business and individual.

About the Role

Here are some of the key responsibilities which you will have in this role;

  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and leaders in the business.
  • Provide strategic support to drive the delivery of the business HR plans.
  • Assist the business to identify, develop and build strong talent pipelines and succession plans in line with our diversity and inclusion agenda.
  • Be the champion/guardian of the employee experience within the HR team, anticipating threats and helping to manage or mitigate these on an on-going basis.
  • Input into the planning and sequencing of activities to ensure that HR requirements are scheduled appropriately in relation to other activities already in plan.
  • Support the business with the design and delivery of organisational development and design work.
  • Work with HR colleagues and the business in the design and deployment of change management and people engagement activities. 
  • Support the cultural transformation agenda, challenging and influencing key stakeholders to take accountability and responsibility for cultural change.
  • Partner with HR Project Managers and the Centre of Excellence to manage cyclical and tactical HR initiatives and projects (e.g. year-end performance etc.).
  • Take an active role in ensuring the HR operating model is embedded successfully..

About You

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant HR generalist experience with a pragmatic approach to process and practice.
  • Excellent senior stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Financial services experience desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working alongside senior HR and business stakeholders to develop people interventions and strategies.   
  • Experience of strategic change management programmes in complex organisations.
  • Coaching and mentoring of business stakeholders and other HR colleagues.
