HR Business Partner - 12 Month FTC

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the HR Business Partnering team as an HR Business Partner Fixed Term Contract for 12 months based in London.

The HR Business Partnering team creates a strong relationship with the business to understand and interpret their needs and business challenges; contributing to business unit objectives and proactively driving out the underlying people implications. As an HR Business Partner you will support the Head of HR to develop the appropriate HR Agenda that drives people and commercial performance.

This role is varied and challenging and will cover:
  • Providing strong relationship management as a true business partner with your aligned business function; understand the business priorities, plans and risks and work with the Head of HR to ensure an effective people plan is in place to support delivery
  • Supporting the Head of HR by playing a key role in the transformation agenda of your respective business areas, driving through any potential restructures to conclusion.
  • Understanding the key people metrics within the business area e.g. absence, attrition, hiring, disciplinary, grievances; providing insight and solutions to the business within the overall HR framework
  • Working closely with the Resourcing Partners to ensure a seamless end to end recruitment process for all levels including senior hires
  • Working closely with the business and the Talent function to ensure appropriate talent, succession and diversity & inclusion plans are in place
  • Providing innovative, informed and pragmatic solutions to a variety of complex HR issues taking full account of internal policies, HR best practice, legislative practice, equality and regulatory requirements
  • Managing the implementation and execution of the cyclical HR processes with your aligned business e.g. performance management, pay reviews, talent reviews
  • Supporting the implementation of wider HR projects as required

To be successful in this role you will have excellent professional credibility and strong relationship management skills. This is a fast paced and constantly changing environment and you will need to be adaptable and flexible in the way that you work. You will have a broad range of HR generalist experience including transformation and change experience, employee relations and management of multiple senior stakeholder relationships. Experience of having worked in a HR business partnering/ shared service environment and/or working in a complex regulated business will be an advantage.
