Group Statutory Lead role for a leading consumer goods company based in Central London
Our client is a multi-national FTSE 50 business looking for an extremely high calibre statutory reporting manager who values autonomy and is extremely career driven. Will be responsible for reviewing, controlling and managing the preparation of the group statutory accounts and providing business insight and analysis in a timely and accurate manner to a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the impairment review for Group Reporting in relation to goodwill and trademark valuation in line with IAS 36
- Manage and deliver the Group Record to Report Sox controls as they fall due
- Drive initiatives to increase process efficiency through automation, best practice and group standardisation
- Support the Group Chief Accountant in preparing and delivering the annual report and accounts
- Act as a the point of contact for the UK companies statutory accounts preparation
Skills and Experience:
- Degree educated with professional accountancy qualification ideally from a Big 4 audit firm (CA/CPA/ACA)
- Minimum of 6 years PQE
- Proficient in IFRS
- Experience in Sarbanes Oxley (Sox) through audit or preparation
- Experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
- SAP knowledge preferred
