An excellent opportunity has arisen with this diverse investment firm to oversee their sizeable European property portfolio. The company have roughly €1bn in assets across residential, commercial retail and hospitality.
Leading the teams in Berlin, Amsterdam and Luxembourg you will be responsible for providing a full financial administration and accounting service in order to assist in the overall management of the portfolios and to ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide complete, accurate and timely information on property income and expenditure
- Prepare monthly management accounts to include all financial results and other relevant statistics/KPIs
- Ensuring that all management data is properly obtained and recorded in order to prepare financial reports for each SPV and on a consolidated basis in line with filing requirements
- Work with senior management to maintain profitability and maximise the results of the portfolios
- Liaising with local accountants and tax advisors for the preparation and submission of local corporate tax and VAT returns
- Ensuring compliance with banking facility documents
- Preparing quarterly investor reports and annual accounts
- Supervising and co-ordinate the audit process
- General support to the investment team in relation to acquisitions and disposals
- Reviewing systems to improve automation and speed up reporting process
- Assisting with reviewing and improving management reporting and information systems
- Supporting the general management and control of the business
Requirements
- Experience of working with multiple business areas
- Excellent academic record
- ACA qualified with a top-tier firm
- 3-5 years PQE including experience managing a finance team in industry
- Experience of preparing group consolidations
- Personable and professional, with experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong written, analytical and numerical skills
- High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
