An excellent opportunity has arisen with this diverse investment firm to oversee their sizeable European property portfolio. The company have roughly €1bn in assets across residential, commercial retail and hospitality.

An excellent opportunity has arisen with this diverse investment firm to oversee their sizeable European property portfolio. The company have roughly €1bn in assets across residential, commercial retail and hospitality.

Leading the teams in Berlin, Amsterdam and Luxembourg you will be responsible for providing a full financial administration and accounting service in order to assist in the overall management of the portfolios and to ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide complete, accurate and timely information on property income and expenditure
  • Prepare monthly management accounts to include all financial results and other relevant statistics/KPIs
  • Ensuring that all management data is properly obtained and recorded in order to prepare financial reports for each SPV and on a consolidated basis in line with filing requirements
  • Work with senior management to maintain profitability and maximise the results of the portfolios
  • Liaising with local accountants and tax advisors for the preparation and submission of local corporate tax and VAT returns
  • Ensuring compliance with banking facility documents
  • Preparing quarterly investor reports and annual accounts
  • Supervising and co-ordinate the audit process
  • General support to the investment team in relation to acquisitions and disposals
  • Reviewing systems to improve automation and speed up reporting process
  • Assisting with reviewing and improving management reporting and information systems
  • Supporting the general management and control of the business

Requirements

  • Experience of working with multiple business areas
  • Excellent academic record
  • ACA qualified with a top-tier firm
  • 3-5 years PQE including experience managing a finance team in industry
  • Experience of preparing group consolidations
  • Personable and professional, with experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written, analytical and numerical skills
  • High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
