Supporting the senior management to lead the Global Coordination team to oversee the coordination of services provided to Multinational clients by numerous Grant Thornton International member firms. Ensuring that all work allocated is carried out profitably and on a timely basis in accordance with the firm's professional standards and to the satisfaction of clients and engagement partners. Ensuring that all team members are managed and developed to the maximum of their potential, leading the development of the global coordination team, and assisting in the development of the department and office.
What you’ll be doing:
•Seeks to participate in business development activities and contributes to sales pitches, for own team as well as the wider firm
•Escalation point for complex issues on any team clients
•Demonstrates an awareness of technical risk through well supported research
•Ensures compliance with internal procedures including the completion of take-on
•Responsible for managing key client portfolio, and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients
•Manages the allocation of work within the team – ensuring fair and consistent sharing of workloads
•Manages, motivates and coaches team members and provides feedback through regular communication and timely appraisal whilst being familiar with relevant training and development options
•Ensures bills are raised and costs are collected on a timely basis
•Monitors invoices raised and cash collected in a timely manner to ensure aged debtors do not escalate
•Ensures the team consistently achieves deadlines and understands the commercial implications of actions relating to productivity, recoverability, fee income and client service.
Who we're looking for:
•Demonstrates the ability to analyse potential solutions and make recommendations accordingly.
•Can produce a well-supported piece of technical research
•ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent (minimum requirement)
•Proven relevant technical experience (minimum requirement)
