Global Trade Portfolio Management (GTPM) is responsible for document collection, data configuration, new client on-boarding, covenant tracking, portfolio review and asset sales for different Trade client programs.
This role within the GTPM team will support the Export Agency Finance (EAF) business, which is one of the five Trade Pillars.

Key Resposibilities:
  • Administrative tasks associataed with the EAF business, for example co-ordination with various internal partners (Treasury, Agency, Legal etc.) on the move of an asset.

  • Management of any issues (e.g. documentation, general loan administration etc.) post closure of a deal.

  • Annual process around tax certification / residency.

  • Co-ordination of activities with external third parties, for example syndicate participants and official agencies, on audit and compliance requests.

  • Work on various regulatory related activities for the EAF business, for example Basel reporting, Capital management requirements, stress testing etc.

  • Ownership for process to affect waiver / amendments to existing deals, including co-ordinating with internal and external partners to review and update documentation where necessary.

  • Interaction with IRM and involvement on Risk dialogue.

  • Review of existing loan book to assist with forecasting revenues, assessing PandL impact from prepayments, follow up on receipt of expected payments etc.

  • Ownership for annual review and update of Product Approval Program (PAP) for EAF.

  • Manage and own escalations through resolution including root cause, analysis, identify fixes and preventative measures.

  • Interface with cross functional partners including Product, the Relationship team and Operations to deliver excellent client experience.

  • Work with the existing team to identify opportunities to grow the EAF portfolio by purchasing existing assets from other lenders in the EAF space.

  • Develop close relationship with the Global CCB team to work on deals for CCB clients that would be eligible for an ECA guarantee.

Knowledge / Experience:

  • Project Management background
  • Accounts Receivable / Credit Management knowledge

  • Familiarity with Insurance Programs

  • Knowledge of Trade and Trade products, in particular Export Agency Finance

  • Customer Relations exposure

  • General understanding of banking requirements, compliance and internal controls

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to understand a variety of legal documentation from a business/legal perspective.

  • Strong presentation skills.
