BGC Partners is seeking a Future Trades Analyst. To be actively contributing to the day-to-day processing of the Futures Operations teams, working with all available resources within the department. To ensure that BAU work is completed as per agreed schedules. To develop the role and ensure succession management within this role. Be alert to Conduct Risk issues, specifically the risk of harm to client interests, market integrity and/or competition in financial markets due to inappropriate practices or behaviors across the firm.

Be alert to Conduct Risk issues, specifically the risk of harm to client interests, market integrity and/or competition in financial markets due to inappropriate practices or behaviors across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participation in all process redesign effort
• Clear and direct communication of all impacts to futures risk management.
• Production of analysis of existing process.
• Participation within all Audit, SOX and Exchange requests for information. Ensure all aspects of ETD processes undertaken to ensure information is available to meet these requests.
• Assist in the implementation of new processes.
• Input defining scope of projects.
• Active participation in transition and change.
• Assist in Establishing projects schedules.
• To be alert to Conduct Risk issues, specifically the risk of harm to client interests, market integrity and/or competition in financial markets due to inappropriate practices or behaviours across the firm.

• Exchange Clearing systems

• Organisation and time management skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Used Excel and PowerPoint. 
• Experience with reengineering and/or cost savings and efficiency programs would be good.
