My client is a highly successful Private Equity investor in consumer and retail brands and has invested in over 140 different brands and has an AUM of £3 Billion.

They are now looking to add a Fund Administrator to their Finance function to support the Fund Accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Management of central funds team email inbox - including logging of queries, distribution of work flow, management of deadlines.
• Management of investor portal - including updating of investor details, document upload and review.
• Assisting with investor drawdown and distribution processes - including creation of investor drawdown and distribution notices, payment reconciliations.
• Cash management and set up of payments on online banking platforms.
• Assisting with administration of fund bridge finance facilities.
• Management of investor static data - including population of fund accounting system.
• Assisting with ad-hoc investor queries and periodic investor audit confirmation requests.
• Assisting in the funds' quarterly reporting processes and annual audit.
• Ad hoc project oriented tasks e.g. assisting with tax compliance processes or systems projects.

• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Strong team player.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Technical skills & qualifications:

• Good 'A' Level results in Mathematics/Further Mathematics/Economics.
• The ideal candidate will have a curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow and have a passion for building strong relationships with their clients.
• Needs to be well organised and have a keen eye for detail to ensure processes are followed and tasks are completed to a very high standard.
• Ideally a graduate but would consider non-graduates with strong A levels or experience that's directly relevant to the role.
• Competent user of Excel.
• Experience in a fund management environment would be an advantage.
• Understanding of double entry bookkeeping would be an advantage.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
