Frontend Developer (React)- AI and HFT Research

Summary

Fantastic opportunity to join a growing software start-up based in London as they research low-latency technologies in order to build a high availability, high throughput crypto derivative exchange platform - the world's first of its kind.

They are looking for a motivated Frontend Developer with a keen interest in cryptocurrency to develop trading applications using React/Redux and to build websites around these. Engaging with and gaining feedback from the product's customers (hedge funds, HFTs and smaller traders), your role will be to ensure that they receive a best-in-class user experience.

The successful Frontend Developer will be pragmatic, collaborative in their approach to work and eager to work at a rapidly expanding start-up.

Requirements

• 4+ years' experience, including Javascript (React/Redux) skills
• Exceptional software development skills evidenced through open-source contributions or work history
• Experience at an HFT and/or developing trading applications for retail customers is ideal
• Strong communication skills

Desirable

• Previous experience in finance
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Experience with RxJS and React Hooks
• Rust, C++, assembly or other low-level programming experience
