Front Office Risk Analyst
Gain exposure, in a challenging role, within our Central Risk business function. Joining this team will give you breadth in exposure to trades in Energy, Agricultural, Metals, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Credit markets and Equity Derivatives.
You will work with the business in booking non-standard products, analysing market and credit risk, identifying and mitigating operational risks, and conducting profit and loss attribution analyses. This role will enable you to gain a high-level understanding of the trading business in Commodities and Global Markets, while requiring you to develop a deeper understanding of specific businesses and transactions.
The London Central Risk team is part of a global team and works on both internal and regulatory global projects. Outside of the project work, priorities can change regularly so this role would suit someone who is able to work on a number of issues at once.
You will have an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematical Finance, with programming experience (Python is preferred) and be looking to build a career in financial markets and financial risk management. Both experienced and graduate level candidates are encouraged to apply.
