Front-End Developer, Business Design, Consulting, London
We're creating virtual copies of the world to enable better and faster business decisions.
Data is powerful and increasingly abundant. Virtual worlds help us bring it to life and organise it. We are using cutting edge technologies to build granular and large scale simulations of the world that have not been possible so far. Our clients use these virtual worlds to gain an edge in the accuracy and speed of their decisions.
You have the opportunity to join a fast growing team of innovative minds including awesome developers, brilliant strategists, and bright creatives. You will be building new technology that empowers industry leaders to make critical business decisions with an outsized impact on the world we live in.
We're looking for a talented front-end developer to join us on our journey. You'll have great Angular skills, a fundamental understanding of UX principles, and while not essential, some knowledge of Go, Flutter, React, or NodeJS will really set you apart! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a fledgling industry of the future, still in its relative infancy.
We sit within the Strategy, Analytics and M&A team.
Strategy, Analytics and M&A
How do you make intelligent, future-proof decisions in a world where change is the one constant? That's exactly what you'll help our clients to do. You'll build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and use the most exciting new technologies available to build data-driven products that transform their organisations. Your work will help clients position their organisations to succeed in an ever-evolving marketplace.
We encourage consideration of flexible ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients. If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss with us.
We are building large scale virtual worlds where our clients can simulate possible business strategies. We built a powerful simulation engine and we are now looking for experienced front-end developers to help us bring the virtual worlds to life. You will be building interfaces that allow clients to interact with the virtual worlds and get the right information to enable critical business decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Develop and deploy interfaces that interact with the simulation engine and bring the virtual worlds to life for clients
● Make technology stack choices to optimise the performance of our front-end interfaces
● Work closely with users, product strategists, designers, and software engineers to define and create coherent interfaces that delight clients
● Propose, prototype, and test new technologies, interfaces, and features
● Advise clients on relevant technology choices affecting their long term decisions and strategy
● Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
