• Support the creation and implementing of solutions to prevent fraud in Europe based on fraud intelligence analysis. Fraud prevention solutions will be via automation and/or improvements to controls in business processes. Works closely with the Business Units, Legal, Compliance, Information Technology, etc. to recommend and implement fraud prevention and detection measures and controls.
  • Support the creation and implementing of solutions to prevent fraud in Europe based on fraud intelligence analysis. Fraud prevention solutions will be via automation and/or improvements to controls in business processes. Works closely with the Business Units, Legal, Compliance, Information Technology, etc. to recommend and implement fraud prevention and detection measures and controls.
  • Undertake review, analysis and assessment of UK Retail Direct fraud risk events and concerns as part of daily fraud risk event driven escalations review, including scrutiny of data on the online platform, CIFAS fraud database and open source information.
  • Undertake analysis and provides administrative support in the assessment and dissemination of fraud and security intelligence, with an objective of preventing and detecting fraud attempts before they come to fruition and expose the firm and/or client to losses, and assessing security and information security threats. Administers and provides analytical support intelligence-led fraud prevention and detection activities. Provides administration support relating to the provision of physical security needs to protect the Business, crew and workspace/s.
  • Participates with the aspects of European business, European Risk, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Information Technology, Client Insight and other stakeholders in evaluating fraud prevention / detection systems, solutions, and reports, including analysis of complex situations and identifying practical solutions. Provides regular updates, both formally and informally, to line manager on the status of analysis and event lead and proactive responses.
  • Engages with established network of contacts, both internally and externally, to gather, exchange, share, and execute on actionable fraud and security intelligence to best protect the business and client assets. Contacts include colleague fraud analysts and investigators in financial services, law enforcement, academia, and public-private partnerships. Support the proactive works to develop those relationships with the intent of gaining intelligence to further improve fraud prevention measures across the business.
  • Participate in the management of Global Fraud & Enterprise Security programs, including all benchmarking, gap and vulnerability assessments, key control and control environment assessments, risks prioritization, and mitigation planning and execution and Support the delivery of regional fraud & enterprise security education, training, and awareness programs at all sites.
  • Assimilates multiple sources of fraud intelligence, such as the Fraud Hotline, Fraud Email, Peer Intelligence, Client Insight reporting, etc., involved in effectively triaging such intelligence based on its credibility, time-sensitivity, and action ability. Analysis of fraud intelligence for its impact on fraud prevention and detection efforts. Participates in the response to a fraud events, investigations, including involved in the creation of formal records available for review, or for legal evidence and prepares reports to the Head of Global Fraud.
  • Provides administrative input for aspects of Regional Fraud / Enterprise Security programs across all sites consistent with law, regulations, standards, and guidelines unique to those countries / localities. Including the development and execution of threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Assists with both security incident response planning and execution and aspects of disciplinary and legal matters associated with data security breaches as necessary.

 

What it will take;

  • Undergraduate degree (BS/BA in a related field) or relevant working experience.
  • Security related experience or knowledge preferred but not essential; high level of interest in this area
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills necessary
  • Extensive level of investigative / equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of electronic security systems, access control systems, and pre-screening processes

  • Understanding of the fraud and security risks in asset management business
