My client, a leading UK bank is currently looking for a Finance Business Partner with Investment experience. The candidate will be employed on a contract basis in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Overall Transformation financial position, telling the story, including ownership of the monthly commentary to Group
  • Lead divisional/portfolio view of monthly Risks And Opportunities
  • Communicating financial performance to key stakeholders across the finance and change communities
  • Drive the content and overall financial shape of Divisional/Value Stream quarterly Forecasts
  • Providing ad hoc financial analysis, scenario analysis and MI to support and influence strategic and operational business decision making
  • Build and maintain a cross functional internal network across Change teams and Finance teams.
  • Act as a senior source of professional expertise in the wider Investment Finance team
  • Actively support building the best team

Experience:

  • Finance professional with a proven track record gained in a range of roles – ideal candidate will have experience in Investment
  • Understanding of market and industry environment including regulatory changes (commercial awareness)
  • Experience of using TM1 preferable
  • Ability to simplify complex financial data, deliver focussed MI & messages and develop strategy
  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
  • Ability to build effective relationships across Divisions, Finance and Change community
  • Ability to lead and implement change
  • Expertise in investment/project accounting
  • Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders
  • Not afraid to challenge existing mindsets and show commitment to simplifying/improving the business
  • Develop a deep understanding of Investment change plans and how this translates into financial implications
  • Accountancy Qualification
