M&GPrudential's Reporting and Analysis team sits within the Group's Financial, Planning and Analysis team within Finance. The purpose of the role is to provide support on the asset management side of the team in producing management information, including insightful and relevant analysis. This information may be in the form of regular reporting or ad hoc requests received from both within the business and externally.

M&GPrudential's Reporting and Analysis team sits within the Group's Financial, Planning and Analysis team within Finance. The purpose of the role is to provide support on the asset management side of the team in producing management information, including insightful and relevant analysis. This information may be in the form of regular reporting or ad hoc requests received from both within the business and externally.

In addition, the role will support the provision of accurate and timely information for reporting in external announcements.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

  • Production to regular MI for reporting to various stakeholders, including the Group's Board and Executive Committee
  • Provide support to ensure accurate and timely information is provided for reporting in external announcements
  • Provide support for the production of the M&G Prudential planning and forecast process
  • Respond to ad hoc requests received from both within the business and externally
  • Provide support across the Reporting and Analysis team
  • Involvement in Finance-related initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other Finance teams within M&G Prudential and other areas within the business.

To be successful in this role you'll:

  • Have experience working in an Analyst role preferred, but not essential
  • Have knowledge of asset management industry preferred, but not essential
  • Have the ability to interpret management information to produce analysis and present this in a clear and concise manner
  • Have the ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Have the ability to work to defined deadlines
  • Have good communication skills with the ability to make judgements and present recommendations.
  • Have high energy and drive with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have confidence and the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with many different stakeholders at all levels
  • Have excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Be studying towards Accountancy qualification
