Our client is looking for a VP-level candidate with extensive execution experience to join a FIG team within an independent investment bank.

Our client is a leading independent investment bank offering strategic advice that helps entrepreneurs, corporate clients and investors in the art of deal-making collaboration. They are looking for a VP-level candidate to join them in providing impartial advice to clients in the Financial Services sectors of the UK and in Europe. Their firm provides the full gamut of advisory services and they work on a range of large-cap buy and sell side transactions. As well as a strong advisory track-record, they are also adept at carrying out company restructurings ranging in value from £500m to £multi-billion corporations.

The successful candidate will be assisting in origination and execution of corporate finance transactions across the FIG sector including both the UK, the US and continental Europe. You can expect to be responsible for handling client relationships, leading the production of client presentations, ensuring the quantitative analysis from junior members is correct as well as having an active role in executing deals and their origination.

Additionally, our client is keen that their hire has a rounded and technical character with a passion for the rapid changes and a deep understanding of the world of FIG. They will join as a VP in a lean deal-team that is able to successfully deliver in time-sensitive conditions and be ready to forge fruitful client relationships and build their own network from day 1. A strong track-record of previous M&A Financial Services experience across a variety of sub-sectors is needed as well as an autonomous demeanour will put those applying in good stead.
