A leading London-based Insurance business operating in the Lloyd's of London market are looking to strengthen their already strong Expense management team in the UK based Finance Department by adding to it an Expense Accountant. This company is a leading speciality insurance group providing clients with proven growth year after year with head-quarters in London, international hubs across the globe.
The role is extremely client-facing with direct interaction with all department heads including presentations to senior management, quarterly review with budget holders ensuring appropriate decisions around YTD expenditure. The successful candidate will also be responsible for production of detailed annual budget, reporting expense composition and commentary on variances, presentations to senior management of the budget with suitable analysis also highlighting key risk areas or relevant trending of expenses. You will also track expense forecasts vs actuals vs budgets and provide appropriate commentary around any variations.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an ACA/CIMA/ACCA Chartered Accountant with a relevant financial services background. The role requires advanced Microsoft Excel Skills with relevant experience in preparing budgets and expense analysis as well as expense controls and processes. Strong communication at every level throughout an organisation as well as a "can-do" attitude are also essential.
