Job Purpose:

Sales and Trading Event Specialist
Job Background/context:

A role which analyzes and advising our key trading client on developments and event in the merger arbitrage space


Key Responsibilities:

Speak to Traders, Analysts and PMs at our key clients in regard to key MandA as well as special situation involving spin offs, rights issues and pre-event analysis.
Development Value:

The role offers exposure to the entire Equity complex as well as Investment banking, Corporate Broking, Prime Finance and Research.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

Extensive knowledge and experience in the Event space.   

Competencies

Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with clients at a very senior level who are also experts in the event space.

Candidates applying for this role must be aware that it is a Certified Role, subject to the Certification Regime. The Certification Regime is one element of the Individual Accountability Regime which has come into effect on 7 March 2016.
