My Client is a well known Global Asset Manager currently seeking an Event Coordinator to focus on both Institutional and Retail clients

The Event Coordinator will be supporting the Events team covering a wide range of clients including both Institutional and Retail clients, managing events throughout Global locations.

The Role:

  • Support events team in delivering events in line with business objectives and priorities to the agreed quality and standard
  • Coordinating the organisation and implementation of topical seminars, roadshows and lunches and dinners
  • Assist in the coordination of communications and registrations before, during and after events
  • Responsible for management of delegate attendance, registration and client queries throughout event
  • Liaise with venues to complete bookings, function sheets, menus and contracts
  • Responsible for invoicing and final reconciliation of individual events, and the setup of new business accounts where necessary
  • Ensure that our CRM system is kept up to date with the latest events campaigns and activities
  • Book travel and accommodation for the UK sales team
  • Liaise with other business areas to create itinerary’s and implement travel plans for internal teams
  • Assist with any additional ad-hoc bookings such as restaurant meetings, charity golf days etc
  • Managing and coordinating a various internal events from beginning to completion
  • Being the first point of contact for any incoming queries from regional sales managers – such as venue availability and pricing
  • Being on top of finances; dealing effectively with any incoming invoices and outgoing bill payments
  • Secretarial support to the team
  • Sending outlook calendar invitations to all internal attendees
  • Maintaining attendee list

The Candidate

  • Ideally have a minimum of 1 - 2 years experience within Event Coordination
  • Have an understanding of inner mechanics of Asset Management
  • Excellent knowledge of event coordination , including  developing, implementing and managing events and event related activities, using internal resources and external event organisers
  • Articulate and excellent communications skills
