A leading, large asset manager with global presence and out-standing reputation.


Position:

Are you an equity research analyst (healthcare sector or natural resources sector) looking for a fresh challenge?

Joining a busy team, our client is looking to grow their equity research analysis capabilities.  The team will have specialists for both Developed and Emerging Markets.  Focusing on long-only and fundamental, your sector analysis experience should come from the healthcare or natural resources space.   The team specialists currently in place also include those from the financials, industrials and consumer sectors, whom you (as a healthcare specialist or natural resources specialist) would be joining,  as part of the dedicated buy-side equity research, long-only, fundamental team. 

Your role in essence will consist of conducting in-depth industry and company research and provide equity analysis to make investment recommendations to the portfolio managers. The research and recommendations will influence the investments in our client's global equity strategies.

 

Profile:

  • A minimum of 3 years'+ experience on Healthcare or Natural Resources
  • Equity research from a top-tier asset manager, investment bank or brokerage
  • University Masters degree in a relevant area such as maths, engineering, economics, biomed, pharma etc
  • Strong numerical, analytical and Excel skills as well as innovative and results-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Already working in London or eligible to be based out of the UK (EU, EEA, British, Swiss nationals, "Settled Status", "Indefinite Leave to Remain Status")
