We are looking to hire a Commodities Strategist, based in London, to:

- Join a top ranked Metals & Mining team writing commodities thematic and sector research covering base metals, bulks and precious metals
- Build, develop and maintain comprehensive supply-demand models and set price forecasts
- Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Speak to clients on a range of industry-related topics
- Perform value-add analysis and interpret data on market and economic events to identify and describe trends
- Collaborate closely with equity analyst teams
- Attend and report on presentations and conferences
- Manage client requests and take ownership of workflow
- Keep abreast of industry-related news flow

Qualifications:


You Are:

- Intellectually curious
- An excellent communicator, with strong verbal and written skills
- A proven team-player who enjoys knowledge sharing and collaborating with your colleagues
- Resourceful, a self-starter who enjoys taking initiative to deliver results with exceptional attention to detail

You Have:

- A top class undergraduate degree, or international equivalent, from a leading university
- Experience of Commodity Research – ideally covering metals or bulk commodities
- A fantastic attitude and commitment to deliver the best service to clients
- Superior data management skills with ability to filter news flow and distil large amounts of data
- Excellent verbal + written communication skills
- A curious, creative mind and a talent for problem solving
- Deep understanding of commodity market fundamentals
